Xbox Ultimate now also offers free Disney + trial
There’s good news for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate users. Microsoft is offering Disney+(Disney Plus) subscription to all the Xbox Ultimate members that are new to the Disney+ platform.

Ultimate members that are new to Disney+ will be able to claim a 30-day subscription trial.
“Today we’re announcing the newest Perk for our Ultimate members: 30-days of Disney+*”, said Adam Harris, Product Marketing Manager, Xbox Game Pass division at Xbox in the blog post.
With this new collaboration with Disney, Game Pass Ultimate members now have access to Disney+ subscription, which includes content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, National Geographic & Star Wars.
How to claim?
- Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can claim the Disney+ subscription through the Xbox app on PC, the perks gallery on Xbox console, or through the Xbox Game Pass mobile app on Android or iOS.
- After claiming the perk you will be directed to the Disney+ site to activate the subscription.
Availability:
- The subscription is available at no additional cost i.e. completely free.
- Ultimate Members can claim and activate the trial until January 31.
- Alongside Xbox Series X|S, Disney+ will also be available for Xbox One.
- Only available to new users i.e. users that have not subscribed or used a free trial for Disney+ yet.
The timing for this collaboration is perfect. ‘The Mandalorian’, one of the most popular shows in recent times also available on Disney+. And to add a cherry on top, the episodes/chapters for Season 2 of the series have been dropping every week on the Disney+ platform. This collaboration will benefit both Disney+ and Xbox Game Pass.
Epic has also come out with a similar deal where Fortnite players can get two months of Disney+ subscription on any real money purchase in Fortnite. But it is not available worldwide, it’s limited to specific regions.
Xbox Series X|S has launched already and with it EA Play has arrived on Xbox Game Pass service. Yes, now you can access the whole EA Play library on Xbox Game Pass subscription service.
Xbox is making big moves to stay ahead of its competitors, from the ZeniMax Media acquisition to interesting offers for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate users like EA Play addition and subscription services like Spotify Premium, Discord Nitro and now Disney+ too.
