WinZO raises $18 Million in Series B funding round

WinZO, a vernacular social gaming platform in India has raised $18 Million in Series B funding round led by Makers Fund and Courtside Ventures.

Courtside Ventures is based in New York and Makers Fund is based in Singapore with over 30 investments across North America, Europe, and Asia. This is the first investment in India for both Courtside Ventures and Makers Fund.

Kalaari Capital was also a part of the funding round. Kalaari Capital had also invested in WinZO in its Series A funding round. WinZO is Kalaari’s second largest bet in gaming after Dream11.

Revant Bhate, FinAdvantage, Indigo Edge -exclusive advisor to WinZO, and Co-founder Paavan Nanda and Saumya Singh Rathore had also joined the round.

Founded by Paavan Nanda, and Saumya Singh Rathore, WinZO is a gaming platform that offers 70+ games across various multiplayer formats and is available in 12 languages with over 25+ million registered users.
