The Nintendo Direct of the current month brought the news that The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword will be arriving on Nintendo Switch from July with an HD port. Nintendo also shared the first look of Joy-Cons that would come alongside the game. The new ones are based on the theme of Skyward Sword. The Joy-Cons will be available in a bunch of different colors. Thus, fans will be able to personalize their consoles and their controllers. The new stylish pair rightly complements the port with its stunning look! The Joy-Cons boast unique designs and are not simply recolored.
The appearance of the new Joy-Cons:
Both the Skyward Sword-themed Joy-Cons are blue but of different shades. The left one is lighter compared to the right. The right one comes with some stylized design, including the iconic triforce, right around the buttons, and the analogue stick. The left one features the Royal Crest, including similar designs, around the direction buttons and the stick. The strap is made up of white plastic and blue color, interwoven together. As a whole, the set appears to be very clean, sharp and is undoubtedly one of the most well-designed Joy-Cons provided by Nintendo.
What’s in store for the players?
Players can use the Joy-Cons using two kinds of control methods. The first method will imitate the working of Skyward Sword on the Wii. Here, the motion controls will be available for various movements of the sword and the bow. Alternatively, players can also play in the button-only mode. In this case, all the sword slashes and actions will be determined by the right analogue stick. However, gamers who have Nintendo Switch Lite will need to play without the motion controls.
