Samurai Esports officially launches after signing a Valorant roster and content creators

Samurai Esports formally announced its entry into esports and content creation yesterday i.e. March 24, 2021. The organization recently signed a Valorant roster and few content creators and yesterday the fans got a formal look at the new signings and learnt more about the organizations’ plans.

Samurai Esports is owned by Atif ‘Samurai’ Kazi. Premal ‘TrAnZ’ Mehta is the CEO for the organization.

Atif plans to provide gamers and esports athletes a platform to prove themselves through the organization. They want to support content creators, variety streamers, etc from the Indian scene.

Their first big signing as an organization was picking up the former XTZ Esports Valorant lineup.

Samurai Esports has officially entered Valorant esports by signing the below mentioned lineup.

The Valorant lineup: 

  • Simar ‘Psy‘ Sethi (Captain)
  • Saaransh ‘Whimp’ Dang(IGL)
  • Tejas ‘Rexy’ Kotian
  • Harsh ‘Harshhh’ Arora
  • Shailesh ‘blackhawk‘ Dalvi

Samurai Esports is providing these players with bootcamp, which both Noble Esports and XTZ Esports denied/ couldn’t manage to provide. A bootcamp is really essential for any esports team as it helps players improve their game and teamplay.

In addition to the Valorant roster signing the organization has also signed four content creators.

  • Shobhit ‘TbOne’ Rai 
  • Saloni ‘Meow16K’ Pawar 
  • Mahek ‘Mizo’ Syed 
  • Nikhil ‘BloodLine’ Sirohi 

During the announcement COO Premal Mehta revealed that the organization is a bootstrapped company i.e. primarily based on personal savings. He also mentioned that they are in talks with a lot of brands for potential sponsorships.

This was the organization’s first big move and it aims to enter other esports titles to expand further in coming years.
