Resident Evil Village DLC is in development, Resident Evil Re:Verse will go live next month

During their E3 showcase, Capcom revealed that they are working on a new post launch Resident Evil Village DLC.

Tsuyoshi Kanda, Manager, Capcom also announced that the delayed Resident Evil Re:Verse will go live next month across all the supported platforms. No exact date was confirmed.

For all of those that are unaware, Resident Evil Re:Verse is an upcoming action-horror game by Capcom. The theme of the game is set in the Resident Evil universe and sees various popular humans characters, such as Chris Redfield, Leon Kennedy Claire Redfield, etc. as well as popular bioweapons, such as Nemesis-T, Jack Baker, Tyrant-T 103, etc. Type pit against each other in a deathmatch. Everyone that owns Resident Evil Village will get free access to the online multiplayer i.e. Resident Evil Re:Verse.

The game was earlier launched in beta but received heavy criticism. Fans were unhappy with the game due to various reasons, some said the game is boring and not a good shooter game.

Capcom was planning to launch the game along with Resident Evil Village, but delayed it for unannounced reasons. One of the main reasons probably could be the heavy criticism.

Nothing else was revealed about the DLC, except that it is currently in development. Still, the announcement itself has made many Resident Evil fans happy.
