Phasmophobia ghosts will now hunt you by hearing your voices
Ghosts in Phasmophobia just got smarter. A new features was added to Phasmophobia in its latest update, a feature that many thought already existed. After the most recent game update, the ghosts in Phasmophobia can listen to player voices and use that to hunt them down.
New feature:
Whenever a ghost is hunting, if a player is communicating with his teammates, the ghosts will be able to hear it and will start tracking down the source of the sound and check in that location first.
The voice update is based on how loud your mic is. So you will be able to whisper during a hunt.

As mentioned in the above tweet, the voice update works based on your mic’s sensitivity threshold and how loud it is. Now might be the time to adapt to whispering instead.
You might or might not get away with whispering depending upon how loud your mic actually is. This also adds a little bit of realism, as you are supposed to stay quiet when there’s a paranormal entity looking for you, at least that’s what the movies taught us. This looks like an interesting addition, as it makes the ghost AI more smarter.

Many though that the feature already existed in the game. The developer was quick to reply saying it has been added as lots of players though it already existed.
Just in case you didn’t already know, ghosts in the game cannot see you even if your flashlight is on. It’s interesting how little people know about the game despite it being so popular.
Other fixes:
The update also introduced two other small fixes. The first being the Prison map where you could walk through exterior walls. And the other being the Grafton Farmhouse exploit where one could hide behind a panel in the storage room.
Developer Kinetic is definitely taking the game in an unique direction with features like these that we don’t usually see in other games.
