Paytm First Games to launch Legends of Runeterra Tournaments in India

Over 15,000 players will compete for a total prize pool of Rs 7.5 lakhs

Paytm First Games has today announced the launch of Legends of Runeterra tournaments in India. From August to November, the company will organise 3 tournaments with a total prize pool of Rs. 7.5 lakhs. Over 15,000 players will be able to participate in this through their mobile phone or computer.

The first tournament is scheduled from 8th August to 12th August, while the other two tournaments will be held in the month of September and November. To participate in the tournament, gaming enthusiasts across the country will be able to register from 30th July onwards on the Paytm First Games app. This tournament will be held online and will use multiple elimination formats depending upon the round.

Legends of Runeterra is a free-to-play digital collectible card game developed and published by Riot Games. It is set within the League of Legends universe, drawing on characters found throughout that game’s expansive lore. Released globally on 29th April 2020, Legends of Runeterra has quickly topped the popularity charts on digital game stores and is played 1v1.
