A new study by Mozillion reveals some of the world’s most popular mobile games that are the most difficult to beat and those which require the most play-time. With mobile gaming now eclipsing both PC and console, the study analysed more than 130 of the most popular mobile games to reveal the titles that take the longest time to complete, in addition to those we’re Googling the most. The study also reveals the mobile games we need the most help to play through and force players to use cheats, walkthroughs, and online tips.

According to the analysis, Minecraft: Pocket Edition is the most searched for mobile game, with almost 25 million searches for the game on Google between January 2021 and January 2022. The battle royale style game Free Fire follows in third place, with 13,600,00 searches – the most downloaded game in the world in 2019, it set a record with more than 150 million daily active users globally in August 2021.

The Founder of Mozillion, Len Leeson comments, “The mobile gaming industry has eclipsed the PC and console world, and this overwhelming success has in turn pushed smartphone tech-forward in leaps and bounds.

Some of the world’s most popular PC and console games are now available in mobile form, with graphics that are indistinguishable from the original, which is a testament to just how advanced mobile technology is with every new phone release. Many handsets boast large, ultra-high-definition screens, vast amounts of internal memory and lightning-quick processing speeds that give owners a true gaming experience in the palm of their hands. Whether you prefer to spend hours creating new worlds on Minecraft or slicing produce in Fruit Ninja to pass a few minutes, we’re a long way from the days of Snake.

For big fans of mobile gaming, I always suggest looking at the technical specifications of any phone prior to purchasing – whether a new phone or a refurbished phone, in order to ensure an enjoyable gaming experience.”
