Lord of the Rings: Gollum game footage will be revealed during the Future Games Show
Developer Daedalic will be revealing “world’s first footage” for Lord of the Rings: Gollum during the Future Games Show scheduled for this Thursday, March 25.
The gameplay would be really interesting to watch as you will be able to see how the Smeagol-Gollum split personality works. How he battles his own alter-ego while making the decisions.
“The decisions you make affect the way the game feels,” explained lead narrative designer Tilman Schanen in an interview with IGN. “You always either play as Smeagol or as Gollum as the ‘dominant‘ persona and that can influence animations, soundscapes, certain gameplay situations, and in-game dialogue.” Basically, the game’s narrative will be affected by the choices you make.
Also as we all know, Gollum is not a warrior, it’ll be even more interesting to see how the combat works.
The game was initially scheduled for a release in 2021 but was delayed to 2022 at the start of the year.
Also a Lord of the Rings: Gollum game account today went live on Twitter where you will receive updates about the game. (Thanks: GameSpot)
