‘Layers of Fear 2’ and ‘Costume Quest 2’ are free on the Epic Games Store this week
As you may already know Epic Games Store offers free games to its users every week and has been doing so since its launch in 2018.
Every week gamers can redeem free games by either visiting the Epic Games website or through the Epic Games launcher.
This week Epic is offering two free games, Layers of Fear 2 and Costume Quest 2.

Layers of Fear 2:
Layers of Fear 2 is a first person psychological horror game developed by Bloober Team and published by Gun Media. The game is narrated by well-known actor and film producer Tony Todd.
The game gives emphasis on storyline and exploration just like Layers of Fear 1.
Players control an actor who is gonna star in a movie. The filming takes place on an Ocean Liner, upon entering the player comes face to face to his past and remembers being on a similar boat with his siblings and abusive father and….. No more details, we don’t want to spoil the game’s experience for you.
Also, The game features three alternate endings which depends upon the player’s choices in crucial situations throughout the game.
Costume Quest 2:
Costume Quest 2 is an adventure game developed by Double Fine Productions and published by Midnight City.
A doctor called Orel White and a wizard take over Halloween using a Grubbin doll and Grubbins start popping in thin air across the neighbourhood. And, as this happens Halloween costumes and candy bags disappear. Now Everett, Lucy and twins Wren & Reynold the heroes of the game must defeat minions, monsters and other hostile creatures in their attempt to restore things to normal.
Both Layers of Fear 2 and Costume Quest 2 are 100% free on the Epic Store this week.
If you want to redeem these and other free games available on the platform, all you have to do is head on to epicgames.com or open the Epic Games launcher and then sign up for a new account or sign in using an existing account. Then just go to the page of the free game you want and click on the “FREE” button.
Both ‘Layers of Fear 2‘ and ‘Costume Quest 2‘ are completely free and will be forever yours to keep if you redeem them before October 29, 8:30 PM.
