HYPEX, a popular Fortnite data miner and leaker tweeted out sharing an image of what could be the next character skin.
Although Epic hasn’t yet confirmed the crossover, HYPEX is a reliable source and some of his leaks in the past have turned out to be real. The tweet by HYPEX says, “Kratos will be a skin soon!”, so we might see Epic making the announcement sometime soon.

The leak was reportedly spotted on the PlayStation Store as a skin for Fortnite.
So will we see Kratos in Fortnite?
The blog post for Fortnite’s Chapter 2 Season 5 says, “Agent Jones will bring in even more hunters from the realities beyond.”, meaning it is likely that we will see more character skins added this season.
Fortnite has had many such crossovers in the past. Crossovers like Venom, Daredevil & one of the most notable, the Ghost Rider crossover.
Also, earlier this year, Sony, owner of the God of War franchise, invested $250 million for a minority stake in Epic Games, according to a GamesBeat report (Thanks GameSpot). So it is definitely a possibility.
While there are some who are absolutely excited for this, others are saying that it doesn’t match the theme and would be a bad idea. Clearly, people have different opinions on this potential crossover, but it’ll be interesting to see how people react if Kratos does come to Fortnite in form of a character skin.
