PUNJABI WEB SERIES WITH FREE FIRE GAMING HITS 150 MN VIEWS

There’s been a trend of web series right from 2020, and almost every digital entertainment web series based on relatable topics is creating a boom around. Here’s India’s first-ever Punjabi web series in the same row, “YAAR JIGREE KASOOTI DEGREE,” crossing the boundaries of millions of views over YouTube. This web series is based on the life of 8 engineering students who came across each other in college and tried to solve the problems they encounter while going troublesome and happening simultaneously.

Moreover, the series came into the limelight with its first promotional song, “Mere Yaar,” from Yaar Jigrii Kasooti Degree Season 2. And while receiving wholesome love and applause from viewers, season 1 crossed 300+ Million views and touched the hearts of the audience. 5 Months ago, the second season of the series also started with the title sponsors Free Fire. The characters introduced in both seasons are Jass (Lead role), Lalli, Ekam, Anmol, Lucky, Keerat, Roop, and Daisy. Further, in the continued story in the 2nd season, the characters are the same but in different lifestyles introducing some new roles Vijayraj Cheema (College president), Ravleen (Teacher), and Bhushan (Free Fire Player).

In the eyes of the Troll Punjabi YouTube channel, this web series is an opportunity to showcase the North Industry’s talent beyond Punjabi music and singers. 

This web series is now a brand integration with Free Fire India (Ultimate survival shooter game).
