G2 Esports completes its VALORANT Roster
G2 Esports a prominent team in the European esports scene has announced David “davidp” Prins as the fifth & final member of its VALORANT roster.
David “Davidp” Prins is a former Belgian professional CS:GO player who has mostly competed in tier 2 & tier 3 CS:GO teams, and has also played for teams like 3DMAX, Team Heretics, & PENTA Sports.
Prins has been competing for G2’s roster for quite a while in the ignition series tournaments, but only as a stand-in.
G2 has already won 2 ignition series tournaments with this roster, WePlay! Invitational & the Vitality European Open with David as a stand-in.
Prins is also competing in the Mandatory.gg VALORANT Cup where G2 was one of the 32 invited teams & has made it to the top 8 teams. Other few prominent invited teams are fish123, Ninjas in Pyjamas, forZe & DreamChasers.
Seeing the success the team has been having, signing Prins didn’t come as a surprise to most in the community. What he brings to the team’s composition with his team role & as an individual player cannot be underestimated. Still, the original tweet made before the announcement did threw off a few.

David mains SAGE for the team, a super impactful agent that can turn the tides of any round, especially with her healing & ultimate ability.
The completed roster is:
Oscar ” mixwell ” Cañellas Colocho (Captain)
Patryk ” paTiTek ” Fabrowski
Jacob ” pyth ” Mourujärvi
Ardis ” ardiis ” Svarenieks
David “ Davidp ” Prins
G2 has won more than $36,000 USD in VALORANT with the same line-up.
The entire roster consists of former CS:GO players, which was unintentional, according to Carlos ‘ ocelote ‘ Rodriguez (The CEO of G2 Esports).
G2’s goal was building a world championship winning team & recruiting world’s best players. They have shown it time & time again with their player signings across various esports genres.
G2 has made a statement with its powerful roster signings & consistent tournament results.
Will it be the EU Super Team?
