CD Projekt is hiring for a new open-world game, could be a Witcher game
CD Projekt posted a job listing on Gamejobs.co 5 days ago for the role of an open-world game designer. This listing is for a junior/specialist open-world designer for their headquarters in Krakow, Poland.
“We are looking for candidates with boundless creativity to fill our game world with believable and exciting content consisting of communities and events that player will encounter“, says the listing.
CD Projekt is the developer & publisher behind games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Witcher 3.
This open-world game could be a new installment in the Witcher franchise as CD Projekt had confirmed that they’ll be working on the production for the new RPG game once Cyberpunk 2077 releases. This was back in early 2020 before all the Cyberpunk 2077 performance issues fiasco.
We have two worlds and we want to create games within these worlds, therefore all the games planned for now are either “witcher” or “cyberpunk”, told Adam Kiciński to journalists during a meeting. (Source: Eurogamer Poland)
It is quite possible that as mentioned earlier in 2020 by Kiciński, “smaller teams” at CDPR will be responsible for delivering the game while the main team works on Cyberpunk 2077 content.
