Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla will host ‘Odin’s Hootenanny’ celebration stream this week

A digital show called ‘Odin’s Hootenanny‘ has been announced to celebrate Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla gameplay and content.

A 20 sec announcement shows Danny Wallace with a raven, asking the viewers to join them on Friday November 6 for the show ‘Odin’s Hootenanny‘.

The show is in partnership with Microsoft’s Xbox Series X|S and will be hosted by British actor Danny Wallace. Danny is also the voice and model for Shaun Hastings in the Assassin’s Creed franchise.

Odin’s Hootenanny is a “celebration of all things Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla” featuring content from IGN, BAFTA and Xbox On.

Modern Day Flyting:

English rapper and songwriter Dan Bull, who is popular for his songs related to gaming, will go head-to-head with British rapper Lethal Bizzle in a rap battle/ modern-day flyting.

Extended gameplay showcase by Xbox On:

An extended gameplay reveal of Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla on the Xbox Series X will be presented by Xbox On.

BAFTA segment:

In a special BAFTA Guru segment, host Elle Osili-Wood will sit down to talk with Narrative Director Darby McDevitt for storytelling about Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla.

Eivor’s Critique:

The show will also feature Magnus Bruun, the Danish actor behind the main male protagonist character Eivor from Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. He will be commentating on gameplay of Amy Mallett and Stevie Coales from IGN in a brutal viking fashion.

Viking Game Show:

Odin’s Hootenanny will also feature a game-show where Gav Murphy, Ellie Osili-Wood, Bex Bombs and Marcus Bronzy will participate in a series of Viking challenges, such as axe-throwing and mind-games. The game-show will also feature an actual raven named Loki.

Odin’s Hootenanny will be airing on Twitch and YouTube on Friday, November 6 at 9 AM PST/ 12 PM EST/ 5 PM GMT.

Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is an upcoming action RPG game developer by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It is the next installment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise and features a fictional story of Viking Invasion of Britain.

Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla will release this month on November 10 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Google Stadia and Amazon Luna.
