Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla Day One update patch notes

Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is out today i.e. November 10, on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 & 5 and on PC. 

Patch notes for a day 1 update for the game were released before the game’s launch. These patch notes reveal everything that will be added to the game, for instance game improvements, new additions and other details.

The patch notes revealed the size of the game for all platforms the game is available on.

Xbox One: ~44 GB

Playstation 5: ~45 GB

Playstation 4: ~45 GB

New Localizations:

Additional localization audio packs are added to the game. Availability of the packs differs for each region.

Codex:

The Animus Database is back as ‘Codex’. The Codex will include 2 sections, the database and the tutorials.

Database:

The database will have information about the world and NPCs of the game. 

You can use the database to learn miscellaneous facts about different locations, factions, enemies and other characters from the game.

Tutorial:

The tutorials will have everything that you learn throughout the game. 

You can use it to relearn how to perform different moves and skills. You can use it if you are playing the game after a long time and don’t remember how a move is performed.

Additional game improvements:

• Miscellaneous bug fixes
• Improved performance and stability
• Fine-tuning and balancing
• Fixing various nuisances related to the quest

So far Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has received positive reviews all over the world, except some criticizing that the game doesn’t feel like a Assassin’s Creed game. It’s still early to make a verdict as there will be a lot of content updates and bug fixes.
