Another Indian Pro banned, Xhade admits to cheating in Valorant

The future of Indian esports scene might again be in jeopardy, not because of Forsaken this time, but because of a 19 year old player, Abhay “Xhade” Urkude.

Xhade, a professional Valorant player for Paratroops got disqualified from The Esports Club Invitational after he got banned by Riot Games for using “third party softwares”.

Team Paratroopers was allowed to compete further in the tournament with a stand-in. It was later discovered that Xhade was using cheats in ranked games and hence banned by Riot Games.

Xhade at first kept on saying that he’s legit and not a cheater. But after repeatedly being asked by many in the community, Xhade admitted on Mithul “ 8bit Binks69” Nayak’s stream that he used cheats.

Note: 18+ Stream

Xhade openly confessed on stream that he was desperate to reach Radiant and decided to use “hacks” (cheats) to achieve it.

While some prominent names in the community completely avoided to comment on the topic, others have publicly criticized Xhade’s actions and shared their raw views on 8bit Binks69’s stream.

Players like Simar “psy” Sethi, Bhavin “HellrangeR” Kotwani, and others requested Abhay “Xhade” Urkude not to play any game competitively ever again and also requested the community not to contact Xhade or try to spread hate in any way.

It is being said that Xhade did not cheat in any official tournament games and used the cheats to grind his rank to Radiant. Xhade has since deleted his YouTube channel.

This cheating situation has become another big controversy in the Indian esports scene, and the Indian community will have to face the consequences. This might damage the scene and foreign investment.
