A Total War Saga: Troy gets a multiplayer mode
Now you can go to war with or against your friends, in the latest update for ‘A Total War Saga: Troy’. The game now has a multiplayer mode. Although the story campaign for the game has been well received, a multiplayer mode for the game was much awaited.
The Multiplayer beta adds two sub modes, multiplayer battles and multiplayer campaign to the game.
Multiplayer Battles:
Multiplayer Battles mode allows up to 8 players to play together. The mode allows the use of community made maps through mods. You can also customize battle type, time limit, difficulty, etc.
Multiplayer Campaign:
The multiplayer Campaign gives options such as multiplayer co-op, head-to-head, battle limit, etc. Also, it allows players to resume from a save game.
You can expect more content/features to be added to the game in coming months as the patch notes for the update shared on Total War blog says “More to come in the next few months!”
Multiplayer mode has been one of the most awaited feature for the game since its release. The addition of multiplayer makes the game more challenging, more competitive and fun to play.
