India based game developer Firescore Interactive has been acquired by CrazyLabs

Hyper-causal game publisher CrazyLabs recently announced the acquisition of Mumbai-based game development studio, Firescore Interactive. According to the announcement post, the deal is a part of CrazyLabs’ strategy to expand and grow its game development business in India as well as CrazyHubs activity. The deal is said to be a “multi-million dollar deal” but no details have been disclosed yet.

The close relationship and open communication with CrazyLabs was a key differentiator for us from the get-go“, said Karan Khairajani, Co-founder, Firescore Interactive.

With popular hyper-casual games such as Soap Cutting, Acrylic Nails & Hair Dye, and the CrazyHub India hypercasual gaming accelerator, both the companies have had a strong long-lasting partnership which now has resulted in an acquisition.

Talking about the acquisition, Guy Tomer, the COO & GM of CrazyLabs referred to India as a strategic market with invaluable game development and creative skills. He called the deal “a result of a very successful collaboration.

The success of Firescore Interactive was a confirmation to everything we thought when we first started expanding CrazyLabs to India. India is a strategic market and an invaluable resource for game development talent and creative skills. While this deal is the end result of a very successful collaboration, we have no doubt it is merely the beginning of CrazyLabs India”, said Guy Tomer, COO & GM, CrazyLabs.
