Call of Duty, Sightsavers India collectively announces two-day charity mobile tournament

Call of Duty in collaboration with Sightsavers India is hosting a charity mobile tournament. The 2-day tournament will be held on the 15th and 16th May 2021 to raise funds for preventing avoidable blindness and protecting the rights of persons with disabilities in India.

The brands inform that It is an opportunity for all those skillful, Call of Duty players to show off and win prizes at the same time. This tournament is a charity event to help its beneficiaries with the gift of sight. All the money raised from this event will be considered as a donation to the needy.

Jatin Tiwari, Head, Corporate Partnership at Sightsavers India, shares, “Sightsavers wants to introduce the concept of “Charity – Giving” among the E-Sports fraternity through their Call of Duty tournament. A huge number of people, during the lockdown particularly, have found their calling through various E-Sports and games to interact and engage with friends and other like-minded individuals across the world. The event is already up on BookMyShow – a competition with prizes for winners. The money raised from the event will be used to support the blind and persons with disability living in some of the most backward parts of the country that are greatly suffering and isolated in these difficult times.

This is a heartfelt request to the E-sports fraternity and all who love playing E- games to join hands and help us in the objective.”
