ARMA 3 is getting a huge Vietnam Campaign DLC
A third party developer called Savage Game Design is working on a new expansion DLC for the popular realism-based military shooter ARMA 3. The DLC is called ‘S.O.G. Prairie Fire’ and it explores the Vietnam War.
The DLC will include a large, historical open-world battlefield (300 km² in size). It will include cities, towns, rivers, fire bases and a lot of jungles.(As reported by Kotaku)
The DLC will include a narrated single-player campaign, new single-player and multiplayer scenarios, and a multiplayer co-op campaign on launch. The DLC is a complete game on its own within another game.
Here’s what you can see in the new DLC:
- 5 Singleplayer Scenarios
- Multiplayer – 9 Scenarios & Bonus Mission
- Multiplayer Co-op Campaign (up to 14 players)
- Additional Language Support(on top of officially supported languages)
- Polish
- Turkish
- Korean
- Japanese
- 4 New Factions, 55 New Weapons, New Uniforms & Gear and a lot more
There’s no exact release date scheduled yet, but according to the Steam page the DLC will launch sometime in the Q2 of 2021.
