As you might already know Godfall is a console timed exclusive to PlayStation 5, meaning at launch the game will be available only on the PlayStation 5 console, and on PC.
But as the game is a timed exclusive, the game might be coming to Xbox’s next-gen consoles after the exclusivity deal with PlayStation 5 ends. The question on everyone’s mind was “But how long will the exclusivity deal last?”.
Now we have an answer. The launch trailer for Godfall has confirmed that the game will be exclusive to PlayStation 5 until May 12, 2021.
At the end of the trailer it is mentioned that Godfall is a “ PlayStation 5 Console Exclusive* “. There’s an asterisk at the end, meaning the viewer should refer to the footnote below for details.
The footnote says, “ *Also available on PC. Not available on other consoles until at least 05/12/21.”
So as you can see, Godfall is exclusive only till May 12, 2021. Does this mean that Godfall might be coming to the Xbox consoles in May 2021? Yes, maybe. Although, the developer hasn’t mentioned which platforms the game will be available on after the exclusivity deal ends, it is likely that it’s going to be Xbox Series X|S.
