5 casual multiplayer games you should try with friends

Playing games is fun, but playing with friends is more fun. Not all my friends are into hardcore gaming and play just for fun, so we end up playing casual games most of the times. We have a list of casual multiplayer games you can try out with your friends as well. If you are anything like me, you too would love these casual multiplayer games to play with friends.

Human: Fall Flat

Human: Fall Flat is a fun physics platformer game where you and your friends play as a customizable human character. You have to control his arms and head to make him pick up objects, climb ledges, etc.  There are a lot of levels with different objectives such as going from point A to point B over all the obstacles, fighting each other, etc.

The game gets content updates regularly, and with the community maps from the Steam community workshop, there will always be something to play. The game is re-playable and you’ll never get bored of what the game offers.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout

If you’ve been following gaming in 2020, you might have already heard about Fall Guys. Fall Guys is a platformer battle royale game. The game rose to popularity after several big Twitch streamers started streaming it. It took the gaming industry by storm in 2020 becoming one of the top trending games on Steam, Twitch & YouTube.

Fall Guys won The Game Awards 2020’s Best Community Support award. Fall Guys also won Golden Joysticks 2020 awards for two categories: Best Multiplayer & Best Family Game. And the most recent being the 2020’s ‘Better with friends’ Steam Award.

Pummel Party

As the name suggests Pummel Party is a party game. It is for 4-8 players and supports online as well as local multiplayer. It is a board game with a set of challenging yet fun mini games like Elemental Escalation, Temporal Trails, Barn Brawls and more.

Also the game has bot support, meaning if you are down a player, you will still be able to play the game with a bot. You can even play the game with bots in case you have already “destroyed all your friendships”. The game is available on Steam now.

UNO

Yes, it’s UNO, but online. In case you didn’t already know what UNO is, it is a card game for 4 or more players where you have to match cards on the basis of number or color. The first player to empty his hand i.e. have no cards will win.

You can also change some house rules for a different experience. If you’ve played the physical UNO before, you will definitely enjoy this one.

This game is added to the list for those that cannot meet their friends and can’t get together due to the pandemic and restrictions. The game offers players the chance to play UNO with friends online, instead of getting together physically which is risky due to the COVID-19 situation.

Hand Simulator

Hand Simulator is a simulator game where you have to control your own hands, but it’s not as easy as it sounds. The controls are quite complex and we are sure that you’ll accidently make a wrong movement while in the heat of the moment. Hand Simulator puts you in challenging scenarios such as defusing a time bomb, playing  Russian Roulette, shooting bottles, milking a cow, etc.

Hand Simulator is built with VR support but you will still be able to play it with keyboard & mouse like you do in any other game.

HFM Games, the developer has also released many other Hand Simulator games such as Hand Simulator: Survival and Hand Simulator: Horror.

Here’s a trailer for the recently launched Hand Simulator: Horror

That’s it. We are sure you will enjoy these fun casual multiplayer games with your friends.
